Where can I buy quality knives? What about a good Italian Prosciutto or some locally made Chocolate? InterCourse can help! These tours are an opportunity for you and your friends to get out of the house for an afternoon, load up your pantries and freezers, and tour Calgary's multitude of ethnic food markets and kitchen supply stores. Foster that new hobby of cooking for yourself, your family and your loved ones. Imagine having a professional chef as your guide, helping you with those hard-to-find ethnic ingredients, kitchen gadgets and gizmos offered by so many of Calgary's smaller shops. Participants will be loaded up into a bus (max. 10 people) and driven around town for 3-4 hours, stocking up on ingredients and goodies along the way. "

When: Sunday, February 19th 2012 Meeting place: Kingsland Farmers Market . Click for map. Time: Tour leaves parking lot at 11am SHARP!! Please arrive in time. Destinations: Tours will include Asian, Indian, Latin and Italian markets, as well as kitchen supply shops. Duration: Approximately 4 hours depending on traffic. Weather: Tour takes place rain or shine. Dress: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Capacity: 10-12 people per tour guide.
